Chip8

Chip8 has a maximum size of $3F or 64 pixels across the screen starting from zero.

Some machines can only show $1F or 32 pixels down the screen starting from zero.

Some machines like the ETI 660 can show $2F or 48 pixels down the screen.

The Display Interrupt Routine controls how many vertical pixels are shown in physical and emulators allowing Pixie Display chip emulation.

SuperChip

SuperChip has a maximum size of $7F or 128 pixels across the screen starting from zero.

It has a maximum size of $3F or 64 pixels down the screen starting from zero.

This matches the pixel screen size of the HP calculators it was developed for.

Megachip

Megachip has a much larger screen resolution and allows for a screen size of 256 by 192 pixels.

Each pixel can have three byte RGB color ranging from 0 to 255.

The pixel colors are defined by the Load Palette instruction.
